What students do both inside and outside of the classroom impacts their educational success. When students participate in activities outside the classroom, such as clubs, sports or school events, they develop a sense of belonging and community. Check out this week's SFPS Bulletin at https://conta.cc/3X6DVUb and the perspective of Lucas Robbins, a senior at Mandela International Magnet School and student member of the SFPS Board of Education, as he discusses student engagement!

Last week, Capital High School seniors walked the halls of their old schools to see former teachers and inspire students. This week, it's Santa Fe High School's turn! SFHS seniors visited their elementary and middle schools, hugged their former teachers and staff and brought excitement to the students who are growing up behind them!
Congratulations Seniors on all of your accomplishments! Graduation is right around the corner 🎓

Yesterday, students from Santa Fe High, Capital High, Early College Opportunities (ECO), and Mandela International Magnet School joined forces in the Governor’s School Community Challenge! They took to the parks of our beautiful city - SWAN, Ragle, Villa Linda, and Salvador Perez - to tackle the pressing issue of litter.
A special shoutout to the Naval JROTC team from Santa Fe High, who collected over 60 bags of trash at Salvador Perez Park, earning them a trophy and a $1,000 prize! Congratulations also to the mixed team from Capital High and other schools who took a proud second place, and cheers to the teams from the Boys & Girls Clubs and Santa Fe High for tying in third place.
Let’s keep our community clean and vibrant! 🌳💪

Congratulations to Mandela International Magnet School, Capital High School and Santa Fe High School for ranking in the U.S. News and World Report's top 30 high schools in New Mexico. Mandela ranks third in the state, followed by Capital at 15th and Santa Fe High at 30th. SFPS schools are shining stars! We are delighted to see these three schools get recognition as statewide standouts.
