Due to unsafe road conditions in certain areas of the District, all SFPS schools will be closed Friday, November 8th. Please note that this is not a remote learning day. Due to road conditions in certain areas of the district, all SFPS schools will have a two-hour delay on Friday, Nov. 8th to allow extra time for buses to transport students safely. This means that bus schedules will run two hours later than usual. Please ensure your student(s) are kept from being dropped off before the delayed start as staff will not be on campus. Full-day Pre-K programs are delayed by two hours, while morning Pre-K programs are canceled. Afternoon Pre-K programs will continue as scheduled. Dear Santa Fe Public Schools Families, Out of an abundance of caution due to inclement weather conditions this evening, Wednesday, November 6th, we are canceling all afterschool activities, aftercare, and programs, including athletics, for today. This decision is being made to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. We understand the impact that this may have on your family’s schedule and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize safety. Please make arrangements for your child(ren) to be picked up from school at their regular dismissal time. Even when these threats are unfounded, they can still lead to widespread fear, the cancellation of events, and a strain on resources. We urge everyone to be vigilant online and report any suspicious activity to authorities. Let's work together to keep our schools safe and protect our community's well-being.
